Father's Day Fun

We took a family fieldtrip to the Chicago Botantic Gardens to celebrate Father's Day. Lindsay enjoyed the fresh air while we enjoyed the grounds and a picnic.

Lindsay adores her Daddy (and modeling her new occassion-appropriate floral romper from Grandma Ann).

The roses and peonies were in full bloom. These were a few of our favorite roses - Rainbow Sherbert is the name of this one.

My Long Lost Best Friend (And One I Already Knew)

Lindsay was immediately enamored with her new BFF, Aunt Colleen! It is obvious why...they both have fantastic a) fashion sense b) sense of humor. Exhibit A: Check out the adorable halter/kimono dress Colleen brought Lindsay from NYC!

Who knew tummy time in the stroller could be so much fun?!?


All of the neighborhood sights and sounds are so exciting that even the bumpy path doesn't throw off my ability to hold my head up and do my favorite yoga pose (the cobra, of course).

Bumbo Beginnings

I loved trying out my Bumbo chair from Grandma Pat and Aunt Michelle for the first time today!

I'm obviously very pleased with my performance, as well.

A Day in the Life of a Professional Sleepaholic

Lindsay's first Mommy & Me yoga class and afternoon playdate were so exhilirating that we could not get her to wake up for one of her evening feedings.

Not even undressing her did the trick. We've named the undressing and wet washcloth combo the baby cattle prod. Luckily we didn't have to go there...
