Bina & Brian's Wedding

We traveled to Muskegon, MI for Megan's good friend Bina's wedding over the weekend. Here's the happy couple with Bina's son, Jake.

Lindsay Loves Fabiola & Jessica

Our family is so lucky to have Fabiola! Lindsay loves her and so do we. Fabiola takes amazing care of Lindsay - giving her loads of love and constantly teaching her new things. Lindsay is also quickly becoming "BFF" with Fabiola's daughter, Jessica. You should see how Lindsay's face lights up when she sees her.

Go Cubs GO!

Lindsay got into the Cubs fan spirit today and sported her Cubs onesie-jersey from Aunt Jess. This is one of the first clothing items she received when she was just "baby Peterson" and it finally fits!



One of Lindsay's new skills is standing up "by herself" - holding on to a table or our legs.

No Whining at Winefest!

We decided to take our standard "order-in triple date" with the Huberts outside to check out the North Center Winefest. Here is a great family shot of Julie, Matt & Tommy.

Chillin' With Uncle Bruce

Lindsay & Bruce made Project Runway a spectator sport while he and Aunt Kari watched her on Thursday night (notice how "amused" Bruce is with watching that show). They were kind enough to keep Lindsay entertained while Megan & Scott went house hunting.

Cereal Crime Scene

I win - I sucessfully landed 50% of my breakfast on my bib.

I'm not sure which definition of utentils you were reading - but mine includes "bib" along with fork, knife, spoon and the ever-important spork.
This piece of crime scene evidence can and will be used against you in court. Exhibit A - cereal that was flung from mouth and splattered on foot.

Six Month Photo Fun With Grandma Pat

Lindsay had her six month birthday yesterday and celebrated with a special photo shoot with Grandma Pat.

First Time Veggie

Lindsay tried her first non-cereal food tonight - green beans. She seemed to like them fine - probably more than the cereal...

This is an action shot of her actually diving forward to eat more.

Oatmeal, Shmoatmeal

Lindsay transitioned from rice cereal to oatmeal and she did better than ever with eating the food off the spoon.

"That stuff? I've been eating it for a million years!", said Lindsay.
Even though she did the best job yet eating off the spoon, she probably consumed the most calories off of her bib. I took this extreme close-up so you can see the amount of oatmeal that lands on her bib (about half of what is in the bowl)!

Fashion is My Middle Name

Lindsay had fun modeling her monkey dress from Uncle Eric today. She paired it with one of her newest pairs of "baby legs" leg warmers from Grandma Ann.

We had a great visit with Grandma Pat in Crown Point, IN on Sunday. You can see how much fun Lindsay was having...
